work

For a long time, I have lost the passion for my work.
I drag my feet to the office and I am always late.
I hate to admit it, but the way I work brings no glory to God.

God said, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." (Col 3:23-24)

Martin Luther said, "A dairymaid can milk cows to the glory of God."

"Do everything as it you were doing it for Jesus and by carrying a continual conversation while you do it", that is the secret to a lifestyle of worship. (2004, Rick Warren)

I learn..

Just imagine you and Jesus were working on the same project facing the same tasks and all, going thru it together... now dat'll make things alot easier~ haha :D

The secret to a lifestyle of worship is to have a continual conversation with Him while doing anything and everything.. hmm, thinking bout this statement alone is like WOW already, wait till we put it into practice :D

Even like doing the seemingly most mundane stuff like brushing our teeth, we can be communicating with God at the same time.. Now dat's just fantastic cos "... I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, (nor toothpaste in the mouth *grinz*) shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Rom 8: 38-39]
